Basics - Going into Livemode

To modify your Jumbo website, you first need to type-in the URL of the webpage that you would like to modify followed by the text '?edit' (including question mark). So, for example, if you're browsing a page of your website... Just add '?edit' at the end of the URL and press the enter key and you will be redirected to the login page.

Once you've logged in, you will see your page in a special mode called 'Livemode' - While in this mode, you can edit the content of your website as you like.

Editing Page Content

One you've logged in and you're in livemode you should see a bunch of 'Edit Section' buttons appear in the top-right corner of each editable section of your web page. Click on one of them and the corresponding section will transform into a text editor and you will be able to change the content however you like - Don't forget to save your changed once you're done (the save button is the small icon located in the absolute top-left of the editor's toolbar).

Modifying Navigation Bars

When you're in livemode, all editable navigation bars will have an orange border around them. If you would like to add a link to a page within a particular navigaton bar, just locate the page within the 'Jumbo Live Panel' on the right of the screen and click, drag and drop that page onto the navbar. Once a page is dropped onto the navbar it will become a button.

Buttons in a navbar may be dragged around and dropped on top of each other to change their position within the navbar. Buttons can be also be renamed (just right-click a button and a menu should come up with a bunch of options). You can also right-click the navbar area if you would like to add a button linking to an external page (it will let you type-in the URL).

To remove a button, you can either right-click it and then select 'Delete' from the menu, or you can simply drag and drop the button outside of the navbar.

Adding Hyperlinks to Pages and Documents

To add a hyperlink to another page or a document, you first need to edit a section of your choice. Once the editor comes up, to turn some text into a link, just select that text and click on the Insert/edit link icon in the editor (the icon looks like a chain link - It will become activated after you select some text), a dialog should come up.

From there click on the 'browse' icon next to the URL text field. The link manager should come up. In the link manager you should see a 'view' scrollbox - You can change it to display either pages or documents. Once you've found the page or document that you were looking for, select it using the appropriate tick icon.
